Oregon’s U.S. Senator Jeff Merkley is holding a town hall at the Wilsonville Public Library on Monday, August 10, 2:30 p.m.
He will update constituents on his work in Washington, DC, and answer their questions and invite their suggestions about how to tackle the challenges facing Oregon and America.
“There are huge issues facing Oregonians and the best way for me to effectively advocate for Oregon’s families and businesses is by getting out on the road and holding a town hall in every county, every year to hear directly from Oregonians,” said Merkley. “I invite all residents of Clackamas County to come and discuss what we need to do to strengthen our state and nation.”
Also, if you are running into red tape accessing veterans benefits, dealing with the Social Security or Medicare administrations, or facing foreclosure, Senator Merkley will have caseworkers on hand who may be able to help.
Since joining the Senate in 2009, Merkley has held a town hall in each of Oregon’s 36 counties every year. Clackamas County will be his 247th town hall as a U.S. Senator.
