For a Safe, Legitimate, Democratic Election: Here’s What You Can Do

The President is rattling his dull sabre threatening to disrupt, delay or nullify the 2020 Election results. We need Clackamas County Volunteers to make sure we do our part to foil this very overt strategy. What can you do? Volunteer to observe the tabulation of votes at the Clackamas County Election Office. Here’s how:

1. Notify Craig Stephens, email: or by text: 503 312-4142, by Monday, September 7 (Labor Day) of your willingness to serve a one- hour vote tabulation observation shift. Leave your name, email and phone number so Craig can contact you.

2. The observation shifts will begin seven days prior to and including election day (November 3, 2020). A maximum of two people from the same household may observe at the same time. Observation schedules will be provided in advance. Training and reporting will all be electronic.

3. The purpose of the observation is to witness the tabulation process and look for any irregularities at the County Clerk’s Election Office in Oregon City.  We want to make sure and verify the Election Office is working as it should.

We must stop President Trump in his attempt to cast doubt on the legitimacy of the election.
